ST. LOUIS – A motor vehicle passenger alleges she incurred damages of more than $25,000 because of a rear-end collision in St. Louis.

Simone Shelton filed a complaint on July 18 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Ned Alexander alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 23, 2016, she was a passenger in a vehicle driven by her mother when defendant struck the rear of their vehicle on the O'Fallon exit ramp of Interstate 70 at the intersection of West Florissant Avenue. She alleges she sustained damages of more than $25,000 as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Alexander responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to slacken speed, slow down or stop to avoid collision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of more than $25,000, plus costs and all other relief that is proper and just. She is represented by Kyle Kleefus of Law Offices of Derald L. Gab in St. Louis.
