ST. LOUIS – A Metro bus passenger alleges he was injured when the bus was rear-ended in St. Louis.

Norvall Patterson filed a complaint on July 16 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against North America Central School Bus LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 4, he was a passenger in a Metro bus that was stopped at the intersection of McLaran and Annette in St. Louis when defendant's bus driver rear-ended the Metro bus he was riding. He alleges he suffered injuries to the leg, upper and lower back, neck and head as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds North America Central School Bus LLC responsible because the defendant's bus driver allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout, failed to obey traffic signs and failed to maintain a safe distance.

The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages in an amount greater than $25,000, with interest, costs and all other relief that is necessary and proper. He is represented by Benjamin J. Sansone of Sansone Sumner & Lauber in Clayton.
