ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis man alleges a friend has wrongfully converted his Bitcoin account for her personal use.

Randie Wilson filed a complaint on July 16 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Lashonda Hudson alleging conversion.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that at the encouragement of defendant, the plaintiff opened an online Bitcoin account and invested $29,000 to purchase Bitcoin. The suit states the plaintiff does not have a computer and that his Bitcoin account was established by the defendant. He alleges the defendant has changed the password to his account and assumed control of it without his consent or permission.

The plaintiff holds Hudson responsible because the defendant allegedly converted the account for her personal use.

The plaintiff seeks a restraining order against the defendant from using plaintiff's Bitcoin account, damages of more than $25,000, interest, attorney's fees and costs. He is representing himself.
