ST. LOUIS – A mother and minor child are seeking damages from a Florissant woman who allegedly ran a red light and collided into their vehicle in St. Louis.

Juana Ingram and Lyrik Dixon, a minor, by and through her natural parent, Juana Ingram, filed a complaint on July 30 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Mary Naumann alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Jan. 1, they were traveling at the intersection of Lindell Boulevard and North Sarah Street in St. Louis when the defendant violated a red traffic control signal and collided with their vehicle. They allege they suffered severe and permanent injuries to their heads and backs as a result of the collision.

The plaintiffs hold Naumann responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain safe distance, failed to keep proper lookout and failed to yield to the right of way.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendant in a fair and reasonable amount of more than $25,000, plus costs and all other relief that are proper and just. They are represented by Bryan J. Sanger of Mandel & Mandel LLP in St. Louis.
