Lawsuits

ST. LOUIS – A woman alleges she was assaulted in a downtown St. Louis parking garage and that the garage's owners failed to provide adequate security.

Jane Doe filed a complaint on Aug. 1 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against UGP-Keiner Parking LLC, Interpark LLC and Floyd Crawford alleging negligence and battery.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 18, 2016, she was a paying customer at the UGP-Keiner and Interpark parking garage when she was attacked and assaulted by defendant Crawford.

The plaintiff holds UGP-Keiner Parking LLC, Interpark LLC and Crawford responsible because GP-Keiner Parking and Interpark allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision of activities in their parking garage and Crawford allegedly assaulted the plaintiff without reasonable justification.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against each defendant in a fair and reasonable amount of more than $25,000, plus punitive damages, interest, costs and all other relief that is just and proper. She is represented by Joseph M. Taylor of Taylor & Taylor PC in St. Louis.
