ST. LOUIS – A woman is seeking uninsured motorist benefits from an insurance company for alleged injuries sustained in a 2016 collision.

Tonya Warren filed a complaint on Aug. 8 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. citing uninsured motorist benefits.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 6, 2016, she was injured when an uninsured driver entered her lane of travel on Jeffries Lane and collided with her vehicle. She alleges she suffered serious injuries to her head, back and neck because of the collision and made a claim for uninsured motorist coverage under the policy provided by defendant. The suit states the defendant issued a policy of insurance to Carol Jackson, the owner of the vehicle Warren was driving at the time of the accident.

The plaintiff holds State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed and refused to pay the reasonable amount due under the policy.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $25,000, plus costs and all other relief that is just and appropriate. She is represented by Ray B. Marglous, Robert S. Merlin and Sarah H. Hale of Ray B. Marglous PC in St. Louis.
