Car accident 28

ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis resident is seeking damages from a driver who allegedly rear-ended her vehicle on Interstate 44.

Tina Prichard filed a complaint on Aug. 8 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Sue Lam alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 23, 2013, she was involved in a car collision when defendant rear-ended her vehicle at a high rate of speed on I-44 near its intersection with Kingshighway Boulevard in St. Louis. She alleges she suffered severe injuries to the head, neck, bones, joints, muscles and tendons as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Lam responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain safe distance, failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to slacken speed, swerve or stop to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of no less than $25,000, plus costs and all other relief that are proper and just. She is represented by Michael J. Kelley of Mandel & Mandel LLP in St. Louis.
