Bryan Cave issued the following announcement on Aug. 21.

Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner Co-Chairs Therese Pritchard and Lisa Mayhew have been named 2018 National Women in Law Award winners. The two are honorees in the “transformative leadership” category.

Corporate Counsel and InsideCounsel annually honor general counsel, in-house leaders and law firm partners who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in law. The 2018 National Women in Law Award honorees will be recognized at an awards dinner on Oct. 3 as part of the Women, Influence & Power in Law Conference in Washington, D.C.

Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) is the first global law firm co-led by two women. Mayhew and Pritchard each brought with them a strong track record of leadership and innovative vision. The combination was truly transformational, creating a new firm with the capabilities to enhance the scope of services both firms provided to clients and laying the foundation to achieve even greater success as a global law firm. In addition, as co-chairs they chose to pursue a true “one firm” structure, both financially and otherwise. The new global, fully integrated law firm has 32 offices in 11 countries and a platform of approximately 1,400 lawyers working across continents and practice areas.
