HeplerBroom issued the following announcement on Aug. 23.

HeplerBroom was a proud sponsor of the eleventh annual St. Louis Diversity Job Fair. Rebecca Nickelson, a partner in the firm’s St. Louis office, recently met with numerous law students to interview them for Summer Associate positions with the firm. Kate Watkins and Zoe Gross, associate attorneys in the firm’s St. Louis office, attended the Job Fair Reception to welcome students before the interviews.

The primary goal of the Fair is to attract a diverse group of second- and third-year students to the metropolitan St. Louis legal community, encourage them to practice law in the area, and inspire them to become an integral part of the community. HeplerBroom has been a proud sponsor of the Fair for several years.

Nickelson focuses her legal practice on the defense of asbestos and other toxic tort matters, including product and premises liability. She is a former Chair of the Women in the Legal Profession Section of BAMSL and is currently on the leadership team for DRI’s Women in the Law Committee. Nickelson is co-chair for BAMSL’s Missouri Mock Trial Program. She is also the attorney-coach for MICDS’ mock trial team which, under her tutelage, has won four Missouri State Championships and was Runner-Up at the National Competition.

Gross focuses her practice on insurance matters, personal injury, and professional liability cases. She is a 2016 cum laude graduate of Washington University School of Law and is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois. Watkins, a 2009 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Law, focuses her practice on personal injury and cybersecurity. She is also licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois.
