ST. LOUIS – A motorcycle rider alleges he was injured while trying to avoid a vehicle that entered his lane in St. Louis.

Joseph E. Contarini filed a complaint on Aug. 22 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Kate Nguyen alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 11, the defendant carelessly drove her vehicle into plaintiff's lane in St. Louis, causing him to lose control of his motorcycle to avoid her and strike the pavement. He alleges he suffered severe and serious injuries to his neck, back, knee, leg, face and shoulder as a result of the accident.

The plaintiff holds Nguyen responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a good and proper lookout, failed to properly signal her intention to turn into his lane and failed to yield to the right of way.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of more than $25,000, plus costs, and all other relief that is proper and just. He is represented by Ted F. Frapolli of Law Offices of Ted F. Frapolli in St. Louis.
