ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis resident alleges an unknown driver struck and damaged his home and is seeking damages from the owner of the vehicle.

Anthony Morgan filed a complaint on Aug. 29 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Julia Holmes alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 17, 2016, the defendant's vehicle, which was driven by an unknown driver, struck another vehicle and collided with the stone and handrail of his Athlone Avenue, St. Louis residence. While attempting to exit his home to investigate, the suit states the plaintiff fell on the broken steps and fractured his left foot.

The plaintiff holds Holmes responsible because she entrusted her vehicle to a dangerous driver.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount to be determined by jury and all other relief that is just and proper. He is represented by Gary K. Burger of Burger Law in St. Louis.
