ST. LOUIS – A door at a St. Louis property is alleged to have injured a man's foot when it closed quickly.

Valentin Treskunov filed a complaint on Aug. 28 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Bogen Acquisition LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 24, 2017, he was injured while exiting defendant's The Bogen Lofts in St. Louis when the doorway accelerated in its closing and violently struck his left foot. He alleges he suffered serious and painful injuries to the left foot, bones, joints and ligaments as a result.

The plaintiff holds Bogen Acquisition LLC responsible because he alleges the door was under the defendant's exclusive care and custody.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in a fair and reasonable amount and all other relief that are proper and just. He is represented by Steven M. Gelfman of Hoffman & Gelfman Attorneys PC in St. Louis.
