ST. LOUIS – A limited liability company is seeking damages from the owners and operators of a St. Louis warehouse after a fire destroyed the company's property.

Angie's Transportation LLC filed a complaint on Aug. 31 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against GFA Decorative Trade Services Inc., doing business as Park Warehouse Services, and Folsom Group II LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff entered into a lease with the defendants and stored trailers, freight inventory, equipment and other items at the defendants' St. Louis premises. The suit states the plaintiff's equipment was destroyed in a fire in November 2017.

The plaintiff holds GFA Decorative Trade Services Inc. and Folsom Group II LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to provide a safe and secure location for their tenants and failed to maintain a fire suppression system.

The plaintiff seeks actual damages of more than $25,000, with interest, costs and all other relief that are just and proper. It is represented by Andrew M. Lammert and Michael P. Herrmann of McCarthy, Leonard & Kaemmerer LC in Town & Country.
