ST. LOUIS – An invitee at a St. Louis establishment alleges he was injured by a third party as the person was being removed from the premises.

Nathan Atchison, formerly known as Nathan Repuyan, filed a complaint on Sept. 6 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Keypers LLC, doing business as Keypers Piano Bar, and Kenneth Vanmeter alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 21, he was a guest at Keypers Piano Bar and suffered broken bones and/or broken legs when an intoxicated third party struck his leg as the person was being removed from the premises by Vanmeter. He alleges he suffered injuries to his left leg, foot and ankle.

The plaintiff holds Keypers LLC and Vanmeter responsible because the defendants allegedly negligently sold and/or served alcoholic beverage and/or intoxicating liquor to a visibly intoxicated person and failed to protect him or to warn him that the assailant was going to be ejected by physical force

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount of more than $25,000, plus costs and all other just and proper relief. He is represented by Grant C. Boyd of Sindel Noble in St. Louis.
