Car accident 31

ST. LOUIS – A Collinsville, Illinois resident alleges she was injured when a tow truck backed into her vehicle in St. Louis.

Shaye Barrett filed a complaint on Sept. 6 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Lemuel Bartee and Ambition Towing LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan 8, she was driving east on Victor in St. Louis when defendant Bartee negligently backed a tow truck owned by defendant Ambition and collided with plaintiff's vehicle. She alleges suffered personal injuries that required medical services as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Bartee and Ambition Towing LLC responsible because defendant Bartee failed to keep a proper lookout, failed to yield and failed to take every precaution to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000, plus costs. She is represented by Keith Short of Short & Daugherty PC in Alton, Illinois.
