ST. LOUIS – A driver alleges she was injured when her vehicle was struck by a medical transportation van near at St. Louis intersection.

Marion Blakemore filed a complaint on Sept. 11 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Care Medical Transportation LLC and Yasin L. Warsme alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was injured when her automobile was struck from the rear by the Care Medical Transportation vehicle on Chouteau Avenue near its intersection with Vandeventer Avenue in St. Louis. The suit states Warsme was driving the vehicle at the time of the collision as an employee of Care Medical Transportation.

She alleges she suffered injuries to the muscles, ligaments and tissues of the back, both arms, both legs and hip as a result of the accident. 

The plaintiff holds Care Medical Transportation LLC and Warsme responsible because defendant Warsme failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to stop, reduce speed or swerve to avoid colliding with her vehicle.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in a sum of more than $25,000 with interest and costs. She is represented by Allan R. Belleveau of The Koester Law Firm in Clayton.
