ST. LOUIS – A guest of a St. Louis casino alleges she was bitten by bed bugs during her stay.

April Howard filed a complaint on Sept. 12 in the St Louis Circuit Court against TEI (ES) LLC, doing business as Lumiere Place Casino and Hotels, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 27, 2017, she was a guest at Lumiere Place Casino and Hotels when she was bitten by bed bugs. She alleges she suffered serious and painful injuries and incurred medical care and treatment expenses as a result of the bites.

The plaintiff holds TEI (ES) LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn its guests of the presence of bed bugs in its hotel rooms and failed to keep its rooms free of bed bugs.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in a fair and reasonable amount, plus costs incurred herein. She is represented by Joseph K. Robbins of The Robbins Law Firm in St. Louis.
