Driver seeks damages from Geico Casualty over I-70 collision

ST. LOUIS – A driver is seeking damages from his insurer after he was allegedly injured in a collision on a St. Louis interstate.

Tyrone J. Nolan filed a complaint on Sept. 11 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Geico Casualty Co. 

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 27, 2017, he was involved in an auto collision when an uninsured driver struck his vehicle on Interstate Highway 70 in St. Louis before leaving the scene. He alleges he sustained injuries to his neck, hip, knee and back and incurred medical expenses of more than $16,000.

The plaintiff alleges at the time of the collision, he was insured under a policy by the defendant.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of more than $25,000, plus costs. He is represented by Thomas P. Traube of Sorrell & Traube in St. Louis.
