ST. LOUIS – Two St. Louis residents allege they were injured when a tractor-trailer operated by a Warren County man struck their vehicle on Interstate 70.

Stephen Goforth and Robert Lewis filed a complaint on Sept. 14 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against the Daniel R. Miskov and R & R Contracting Services Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on June 9, 2017, they were in a motor vehicle traveling south on Interstate 70 in St. Louis when Miskov negligently caused a tractor-trailer owned by defendant R & R to strike their vehicle. They allege they sustained multiple injuries to their bodies and were caused to suffer lost wages, pain, mental anguish and loss of ability to enjoy life.

The plaintiffs hold Miskov and R & R Contracting Services Inc. responsible because defendant Miskov drove the tractor-trailer in a reckless and careless manner, failed to stay within his proper lane and failed to yield.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of the jurisdictional limits of the court, plus costs and all other relief that are just and proper. They are represented by Lorenzo A. Hester and Melissa Griffeth of The Hester Group LLC in St. Louis.
