ST. LOUIS – A driver alleges he incurred damages of more than $25,000 after another motorist struck his vehicle.

Christopher Grimm filed a complaint on Aug. 31 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Tabatha McKnight alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan 15, the defendant caused her vehicle to cross the traffic lane and crash into plaintiff's vehicle in St. Louis. He alleges he suffered injuries to his neck, back, spine and body and incurred damages of more than $25,000 as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds McKnight responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently drove her vehicle while distracted, failed to stay in her proper lane and failed to keep a proper lookout for other vehicles.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of more than $25,000, plus costs. He is represented by Gregory M. Tobin of Pratt & Tobin PC in East Alton, Illinois.
