ST. LOUIS – A St. Charles County man is alleged to have failed to stop at a stop sign and caused a collision at a St. Louis intersection.

Taniesha McNutt filed a complaint on Sept. 4 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Michael House alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 30, 2017, she was traveling eastbound on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive in St. Louis and was stopped at its intersection with Academy Avenue when the defendant struck her vehicle. She alleges she suffered injuries including but not limited to cervical sprain, thoracic sprain and lumbar sprain and medical expenses of more than $25,000.

The plaintiff holds House responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to stop at the stop sign, failed to yield to the right of way and failed to keep a proper lookout.

The plaintiff seeks judgment in her favor for an amount of more than $25,000, plus costs and all other relief that are just and proper. She is represented by Julie L. Siegel of Frankel, Rubin, Klein, Siegel, Payne & Pudlowski PC in St. Louis.
