Car accident 27

ST. LOUIS – A Chesterfield woman is alleged to have failed to stop at a stop sign at a St. Louis intersection and cause an auto accident.

Avais Tanksley filed a complaint on Sept. 1 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Nicole Oberman alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 6, she was driving a vehicle traveling west on Olive Boulevard at its intersection with 17th Street in St. Louis when the defendant entered the intersection and struck her vehicle. The plaintiff alleges she suffered serious and permanent injuries to the lumbar spine, cervical spine and other parts of the body and organs as a result of the auto accident.

The plaintiff holds Oberman responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to yield to the right of way, failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to stop at a stop sign.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount in excess of the minimum jurisdictional limits of the court and all other relief that are just and equitable. She is represented by Brian Stokes of The Stokes Law Office in St. Louis.
