ST. LOUIS – A passenger allegedly injured in a collision at a St. Louis intersection is seeking damages from two residents of the city.

Victoria Cooper filed a complaint on Sept. 21 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Jannie Brewster and Eunice Thomas alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 3, she was a passenger in the vehicle driven by defendant Thomas traveling west on Margaretta near its intersection with Marcus in St. Louis. The suit states Brewster's and Thomas' vehicles collided and the plaintiff was injured.

The plaintiff holds Brewster and Thomas responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to keep proper lookout, failed to yield to the right of way and failed to stop at a stop sign.

The plaintiff seeks damages for an amount greater than $25,000, plus costs. She is represented by Darin Sorrell of Sorrell & Traube in St. Louis.
