ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis resident is seeking damages from an Arnold woman over an Interstate 44 collision.

Kayla Hurley filed a complaint on Oct. 2 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Karen Burton alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 20, 2017, she was traveling on I-44 in St. Louis when the defendant rear-ended her vehicle. She alleges she suffered injury to her mid back as a result.

The plaintiff holds Burton responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout, failed to yield to the right of way and failed to reduce speed to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $25,000, costs and all other relief that are proper and just. She is represented by Christopher J. Finney of Finney Injury Law in Clayton.
