ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis woman alleges another driver followed her too closely before rear-ending her vehicle at an intersection in the city.

Valeria C. Fowler filed a complaint on Oct. 2 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Kisor Gurung alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 29, 2017, she was stopped at a red light on Lindell Boulevard in St. Louis at its intersection with North Sarah Street when the defendant rear-ended her vehicle.

She alleges she sustained severe and permanent injuries to her lumbar fusion, neck and shoulder and incurred medical expenses, lost wages and other economic and noneconomic damages as a result of the accident.

The plaintiff holds Gurung responsible because the defendant allegedly followed her vehicle too closely, failed to keep proper lookout and failed to slacken speed, swerve or stop to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff seeks judgment in her favor for a sum of more than $25,000, costs and all other relief that is just and proper. She is represented by Alan S. Mandel of Mandel & Mandel LLP in St. Louis.
