ST. Louis – A St. Louis man alleges he incurred more than $150,000 in damages as a result of a rear-end collision in the city.

Charles Hampton filed a complaint on Sept. 27 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Peggy Brown alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 28, 2016, he was involved in an auto collision when the defendant struck the rear of his vehicle on Union Boulevard near its intersection with Ashland Avenue in St. Louis. He alleges he suffered injuries and damages of more than $150,000 as a result of the accident.

The plaintiff holds Brown responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently drove her vehicle at an excessive speed, failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to sound warning of her approach.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant in a sum that is fair and reasonable, plus costs. He is represented by David M. Duree of David M. Duree & Associates PC in O'Fallon.
