ST. LOUIS – Two business owners allege they were damaged because of the advice of a St. Louis law firm.

Michael Roberts Sr. and Steven Roberts filed a complaint on Oct. 11 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Danna McKitrick PC and A. Thomas DeWoskin alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that in August 2011, they employed defendants to represent their companies in a Chapter 11 bankruptcy. They allege the defendants negligently advised them to transfer ownership of RBC St. Louis to creditors.

The plaintiffs hold Danna McKitrick PC and DeWoskin responsible because the defendants' alleged negligence caused them to sustain damages of more than $25,000.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendants in an amount greater than $25,000, with interest, costs and all other relief deemed just and proper. They are represented by Daniel P. Finney III of Dan 3 Finney Law LLC in St. Louis.
