ST. LOUIS – A woman alleges she sustained injuries to her head, neck and shoulder when her vehicle was struck by a St. Louis employee.

Sandra Harris filed a complaint on Oct. 10 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Keith Jones and the city of St. Louis alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 10, 2013, she was involved in a vehicle collision when defendant Jones caused the vehicle he was driving to strike plaintiff's vehicle at or near the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Drive and North Beaumont Street in St. Louis.

The suit states that at the time of the accident, Jones was in the course and scope of his employment with the city of St. Louis.

The plaintiff alleges she sustained injury to her head, neck, back, shoulder and left knee and incurred medical expenses of more than $3,600.

The plaintiff holds Jones and the city of St. Louis responsible because defendant Jones allegedly negligently failed or omitted to give warning of his approach and failed to slow down, stop or swerve to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendants in an amount of more than $25,000, plus costs and all other relief deemed just and proper. She is represented by Cecil L. Skaggs of Central West End Law Office in St. Louis.
