ST. LOUIS – A visitor at St. Louis elementary school alleges that uneven steps caused her to fall.

Pamela Hill filed a complaint on Oct. 11 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against St. Louis Public Schools District alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 19, 2016, she was injured when she fell down the concrete stairway outside the entrance of the defendant's Herzog Elementary School. She alleges she sustained injuries to her hands and knees and incurred medical bills as a result of the fall.

The plaintiff holds St. Louis Public Schools District responsible because the steps allegedly were uneven and no handrail was present.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant in an amount of more than $25,000, plus interest, costs and all other relief that is just and proper. She is represented by Michelle E. Radice in St. Louis.
