Car accident 20

ST. LOUIS – A vehicle passenger alleges his neck and back were injured when the van he was in rear-ended another vehicle.

Charles Donahoo filed a complaint on Oct. 16 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Tyronne Gaines alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 31, 2017, he was a passenger in the van of the defendant when they were involved in an accident on South Grand Boulevard in St. Louis. The suit states the defendant rear-ended another vehicle. The plaintiff alleges he suffered injuries to his neck, back, right leg and left knee as a result of the accident.

The plaintiff holds Gaines responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to yield, failed to maintain proper and vigilant lookout and failed to slacken speed, swerve or stop his vehicle to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant in a reasonable amount of more than $25,000, with interest and costs. He is represented by Steven C. Gelber and Brian R. Gelber of Gelber, Gelber & Gelber PC in Clayton.
