ST. LOUIS – A man alleges his insurer failed to pay the full value of the claim he submitted after his vehicle was stolen.

J.T. Carrothers filed a complaint on Oct. 23 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against AAA Insurance Co. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 25, 2014, his vehicle was stolen in St. Louis while the policy issued by defendant was in full force and effect. The plaintiff alleges the vehicle was estimated at $60,000 at the time it was stolen. He alleges the defendant failed to pay his claim in full without reasonable cause or excuse.

The plaintiff holds AAA Insurance Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed and refused to pay the benefits for which he is entitled to receive under the policy.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant in an amount of more than $25,000, costs and all other relief that is just and proper. He is represented by Philip H. Dennis of Dennis Law Firm in St. Louis.
