ST. LOUIS – A woman alleges she was struck in the parking lot of a St. Louis supermarket because a driver failed to keep a proper lookout.

Kathleen Ward filed a complaint on Oct. 23 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Cheryl Slattery alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 13, she was walking in the parking lot of Schnuck's supermarket on Arsenal Street in St. Louis when the defendant backed her vehicle into the plaintiff. She alleges she suffered injuries to her shoulders, elbows, arms, legs and knees and incurred and will continue to incur medical expenses to treat her injuries.

The plaintiff holds Slattery responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep careful lookout and failed to yield to plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant in an amount of more than $25,000, costs, interest and all other relief that is proper and just. She is represented by Michelle E. Radice of Michelle E. Radice LLC in St. Louis.
