ST. LOUIS – A driver is seeking damages from a roofing company over allegations its employee caused a collision in St. Louis.

James Watson filed a complaint on Nov. 2 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Old World Roofing Co. LLC alleging negligence and property damage.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 6, he was driving on Brannon Avenue in St. Louis when an employee of the defendant pulled from the curb without warning and caused a collision. The plaintiff alleges he suffered aggravation and injury to his lower back and neck and incurred property damage and other losses.

The plaintiff holds Old World Roofing Co. LLC responsible because the defendant's employee allegedly failed to yield to the right of way and failed to keep a proper lookout.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, costs and all other relief that is just and equitable. He is represented by Brian Stokes of The Stokes Law Office in St. Louis.
