Metro Bus Co. sued for negligence after crash

Lawsuits

ST. LOUIS — A motorist is suing Bi State Development Agency, doing business as Metro Bus Co., citing negligence following an accident.

Matthew Becker filed a complaint on Oct. 30, in the St. Louis Circuit Court, against Bi State Development Agency, doing business as Metro Bus Co., alleging a bus driver failed to "exercise the highest degree of care" when operating the vehicle.

The plaintiff alleges that on May 24, he was injured when a Metro Bus crashed into his vehicle at or near the intersection of Gravois and S. Kingshighway.

He claims to have suffered extensive injuries and property damage.

The plaintiff holds Bi State Development Agency, doing business as Metro Bus Co., responsible because the bus driver allegedly failed to yield and to keep proper lookout and allegedly negligently made an improper turn.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in excess of $25,000, with interest, costs, attorney's fees and such other necessary and proper relief.

He is represented by Benjamin J. Sansone of Sansone & Lauber in Clayton.
