ST. LOUIS — A motorist is suing Progressive Casualty Insurance Co., alleging he was not fully compensated for damages and injuries suffered in a vehicle accident.
Joseph Lochirco Jr. filed a complaint on Oct. 30, in the St. Louis Circuit Court, against Progressive Casualty Insurance Co., alleging that the insurer failed to perform under the terms of the policy.
The plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 14, 2015, he was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Magnolia when an unidentified driver crashed head-on into his vehicle. He sustained injuries and incurred expenses, for which plaintiff made a claim for the uninsured motorist benefits under the terms of the policy.
The plaintiff holds Progressive Casualty Insurance responsible, because the defendant allegedly failed and refused to reasonably compensate plaintiff's injuries and damages.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for a sum exceeding $75,000, plus costs and all other relief that is proper.
He is represented by Nicole Burlison Knepper of Padberg, Corrigan & Appelbaum in St. Louis.
