Car accident 15

ST. LOUIS – A St. Ann resident was allegedly using her cellphone when she ran a red light at a St. Louis intersection and caused a collision.

Marlon Sullivan filed a complaint on Oct. 30 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Amanda Aldridge alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 10, 2016, he was involved in an automobile collision when defendant entered the intersection of Choteau Avenue and 18th Street on a red light. The suit states she was using her cellphone at the time of the crash.

The plaintiff alleges he suffered severe and permanent injuries to his head, neck, back and shoulder as a result of the accident.

The plaintiff holds Aldridge responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay adequate attention to the road and failed to keep a careful lookout.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant in a fair and reasonable sum, plus costs and such other and further relief as the court may deem just and proper. He is represented by David Granat and Sean P. Haley of The Granat Law Office LLC in Clayton.
