Missouri Central School Bus driver alleged to have crossed into another lane and cause collision

ST. LOUIS – A motorist alleges he was injured when a driver for Missouri Central School Bus crossed into his lave of travel and caused a collision.

Frederick Howard filed a complaint on Nov. 5 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Missouri Central School Bus and Monique Higgins alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 11, 2016, he was injured in a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of West Florissant and Shreve avenues in St. Louis when Higgins, who was driving for Missouri Central School Bus, crossed into his path and caused him to strike the defendants' vehicle. He alleges he suffered injuries to his shoulder, back, neck, elbows, eyes and trunk as a result of the collision. 

The plaintiff holds Missouri Central School Bus and Monique Higgins responsible because defendant Higgins attempted to make a right hand turn in plaintiff's lane of travel without giving any signal or warning of her intention.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants in an amount of more than $25,000. He is represented by Danelle C. Duffy of Duffy Law Firm LLC in Clayton.
