ST. LOUIS – A tenant of Bristol Place Town Homes alleges she sustained damages of more than $25,000 after falling on snow and ice.

Melsheena Hardy filed a complaint on Nov. 9 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Bristol Place LLC and Kohner Properties Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in Feb. 24, 2016, she was walking on the sidewalk in the common area of Bristol Place Town Homes on Bristol Avenue in St. Louis when she slipped and fell on ice and snow. She alleges she suffered injuries to her right leg, back and right knee and incurred damages of more than $25,000 as a result of the fall.

The plaintiff holds Bristol Place LLC and Kohner Properties Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to inspect the sidewalk for ice and other dangerous conditions and failed to adequately salt or remove the ice prior to her fall.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendants in an amount greater than $25,000, plus costs and all other relief that is just and equitable. She is represented by Kyle Kleefus of Law Offices of Derald L. Gab PC in St. Louis.
