ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis child care facility is seeking a court's order for a state department to conduct an immediate inspection of its facility for licensure purposes.

Pebbles Little PPL Care LLC filed a complaint on Nov. 9 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services seeking permanent injunction.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that its license was scheduled to be renewed in October but for violations noted upon inspection. It alleges it cured the violations prior to the expiration of its license but the defendant refused to renew it.

The plaintiff holds Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services responsible because the defendant allegedly refused to conduct an immediate inspection of plaintiff's facility and failed to provide any notice of appeal rights.

The plaintiff seeks an order for the defendant to reinstate plaintiff's license, to conduct immediate inspection and all other relief that is just and proper. It is represented by Charles E. Kirksey Jr. of Charles E. Kirksey Jr. in University City.
