St. Peters alleged to have failed to keep proper lookout before Highway 64-40 collision

ST. LOUIS – An Illinois man is seeking damages from a St. Peters driver over a collision on Highway 64/40.

Lee Jones filed a complaint on Nov. 8 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Brian Stevison alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges on Sept. 2, 2017, he was injured in an auto collision near the intersection of Highway 64/40 and South Jefferson in St. Louis when the defendant's vehicle struck his. He alleges he suffered injuries to various parts of the body as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Stevison responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to stop or swerve to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant in an amount of more than $50,000, plus costs and interest. He is represented by Nathan C. Lanter of Nelson & Nelson Attorneys at Law PC in Belleville, Illinois.
