Goedecke alleges Illinois company owes more than $35,000 for supplies

ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis construction equipment and supplies seller alleges that an Illinois business failed to pay for goods.

Vernon L. Goedecke Co. Inc., doing business as Goedecke Co., filed a complaint on Nov. 14 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Abbey Ridge Brewing Co., et al. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it sold and delivered various goods and merchandise to defendants. After all proper offsets and credits, the principal amount of $38,071.39 allegedly remains due and owing. 

The plaintiff holds Abbey Ridge Brewing Co., et al responsible because despite demand for payments, the defendants failed and refused to pay.

The plaintiff seeks judgment in its favor in the amount of $38,071.39, plus interest, costs, attorney's fees and all other relief that is just and proper. It is represented by Debbie S. Champion and Victor H. Essen II of Rynearson, Suess, Schnurbusch & Champion LLC in St. Louis.
