ST. LOUIS – A driver alleges he sustained injuries and property damage when his vehicle was rear-ended on highway.
Daniel Jackson filed a complaint on Nov. 21 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Susan Sweeney alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 2, he was driving on Interstate 55 and was injured when the defendant struck his vehicle from the rear. He alleges he suffered injuries resulting in pain and suffering, lost wages and medical expenses.
The plaintiff holds Sweeney responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout, failed to maintain a safe distance and failed to stop her vehicle to avoid the collision.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant in an amount of more than $25,000, with interest, costs and all other relief that is necessary and proper. He is represented by Benjamin J. Sansone of Sansone & Lauber in Clayton.
