Driver allegedly violated red light in St. Louis collision

ST. LOUIS – A Belleville, Illinois man is alleged to have violated a red traffic signal and caused a collision in St. Louis.

Carey Michael Cross filed a complaint on Dec. 6 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Lamont McNicholson alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 3, 2017, he was injured in a vehicle collision when the defendant ran a red light and collided with plaintiff's vehicle at or near the intersection of Tucker Boulevard and St. Charles Avenue in St. Louis. He alleges he suffered injuries to his head, neck, back and lower extremities as a result of the accident. 

The plaintiff holds McNicholson responsible because the defendant allegedly violated a traffic signal and drove at an excessive rate of speed.

The plaintiff seeks damages in an amount of less than $75,000. He is represented by Christopher J. M. Stokes of The Law Office of Christopher Stokes in St. Louis.
