ST. LOUIS – A client of a St. Louis nail salon alleges she needed medical treatment because of injuries sustained during an eyebrow waxing procedure.

Veronica Lewis filed a complaint on Dec. 19 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Christine Thai, doing business as Crystal Nails LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 20, 2018, she sustained injuries and damages due improper eyebrow waxing procedure at the defendant's nail salon. She alleges she suffered facial abrasions that required medical care and treatment.

The plaintiff holds Thai responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide adequate warning of the possible dangers associated with the eyebrow waxing procedure.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant in a sum that is fair and reasonable, plus costs. She is represented by Joseph K. Robbins of The Robbins Law Firm in St. Louis.
