St. Louis resident alleges he was injured in auto accident caused by driver who ran red light

ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis man alleges he was injured in a collision in the city caused by a driver who ran a red light.

Landal Rene filed a complaint on Dec. 19 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Sawsan Zeinalabdin alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 2, 2017, he was injured in a vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of Meramec and Gravois in St. Louis when the defendant ran a red light and struck his vehicle. He alleges he suffered injuries to his back and neck, was severely bruised and incurred medical expenses of more than $10,800. 

The plaintiff holds Zeinalabdin responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout, failed to stop and violated a red electric signal.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant in an amount of more than $25,000, with interest and all other relief that is proper and just. He is represented by Frank J. Carretero of Frank J. Carretero LLC in St. Louis.
