ST. LOUIS – Two St. Louis County residents allege they were injured in a collision caused by a driver who failed to keep a proper lookout.

Rodney Cox and Irish Cox filed a complaint on Dec. 14 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Stephanie Roberts alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Nov. 23, 2018, the plaintiffs were in a vehicle stopped for traffic at the intersection of Bell and Grand avenues in St. Louis when the defendant collided with the side of their vehicle. The plaintiffs allege they suffered permanent and progressive injuries to their necks and backs as a result.

The plaintiffs hold Roberts responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout, failed to pay adequate attention to the road and failed to act reasonably at the first appearance of danger.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendant in a fair and reasonable amount, plus costs and all other relief that is proper and just. They are represented by David Granat and Sean P. Haley of The Granat Law Office LLC in St. Louis.
