ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis County woman has filed suit against a Macon County man over an auto accident on Interstate 64.
Sherry Morelock filed a complaint on Dec. 26 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Samuel McDowell alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 8, 2014, she was injured in a motor vehicle collision when the defendant struck the rear of her vehicle on Interstate 64. She alleges she suffered injuries to her right shoulder, right arm, neck, head and body as a result of the collision.
The plaintiff holds McDowell responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently operated his vehicle and caused it to strike plaintiff's vehicle.
The plaintiff seeks actual and special damages of more than $25,000, plus costs and all other relief that is just and proper. She is represented by James F. McCartney of The McCartney Law Firm in St. Louis.
