Illinois resident allegedly failed to yield before St. Louis vehicle collision

ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis man alleges that a South Barrington, Illinois resident caused him injury in a St. Louis auto accident.

Jeffery Strathman filed a complaint on Jan. 3 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Obayya Chennareddy alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 26, 2017, he was operating a motor vehicle traveling on Interstate 70 in St. Louis when he was struck by defendant's vehicle. He alleges he sustained serious, painful and progressive injury to his back in the collision. 

The plaintiff holds Chennareddy responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain an appropriate lookout and failed to yield to the right of way.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages between $25,000 and $75,000, plus costs and all other relief that is just and proper. He is represented by Ely Hadowsky of Brown & Brown LLP in St. Louis.
