ST. LOUIS – A man alleges a ceiling collapse at a St. Louis property injured his head, back and neck.

Kenneth Edmonds filed a complaint on Jan. 8 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Esmedina Petkovic alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 13, 2018, he was a guest at defendant's property at 4432 S. Grand Blvd. in St. Louis when a portion of the ceiling collapsed on him. He alleges he sustained injuries to his head, back and neck.

The plaintiff holds Petkovic responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to use ordinary care to remedy the dangerous condition and failed to warn plaintiff of the unsafe condition.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in a fair and reasonable amount and all other relief that is reasonable and proper. He is represented by Spencer E. Farris of The S.E. Farris Law Firm in St. Louis.
