ST. LOUIS – A Georgia resident has filed a suit against a St. Louis driver over an auto accident and allegations of injuries.

Mercedes Post filed a complaint on Jan. 10 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Patrick Swanger alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 3, 2017, he was operating a motor vehicle and was stopping on Grand Boulevard at or near its intersection with Lafayette Avenue when defendant struck his vehicle from behind. He alleges he suffered injuries to his head, neck, right shoulder and back and incurred medical bills of more than $7,300 because of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Swanger responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout, failed to yield and failed to slacken speed, swerve or stop his vehicle to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant in an amount that is fair and reasonable and all other relief that is just and proper. He is represented by Spencer E. Farris of The S.E. Farris Law Firm in St. Louis.
